Good day, here is your cookie for today, ‘Green Power.’ Many people spend considerable time trying to ‘green’ their lawns and plants. The root of the root of all plants is the soil. Often the soil is depleted of the many nutrients and organic matter necessary for optimal growth and results. More and more water is required when the poor soil is not properly oxygenated and does not effectively retain water. What follows are a couple of solutions.
Flavor of the Day
Plant & Lawn enzymes which are safe, non-toxic and concentrated solutions, work with naturally fermented complex organic material in soil to turn simple nutrients into that which plants can use. Enzymes have been shown to produce the following results.

Enzymes
Enzymes are proteins which help accelerating the process of chemical reaction. Enzymes’ function varies inside living organisms. It breaks down large molecules into smaller ones so that they can be absorbed by creatures. For example, enzymes break down the starch chains into smaller molecules such as glucose and make them absorb-able by living organisms. Without enzymes, metabolism of creatures would either progress in different steps, or not be fast enough to serve the needs of the cell.
Nitrogen
Nitrogen is an essential part of amino acids and nucleic acids, both of which are essential to all life. Plants absorb nitrogen in the form of nitrates, which presenting in soil from natural mineral deposits, artificial fertilizers, animal waste, and more. After absorption, nitrates are converted to nitrites by enzyme, and then converted to ammonia by another enzyme.
Minerals
Generally, minerals usually come from the soil, dissolved in water and absorbed by roots of plants. Minerals are not always enough in the soil for growth of plant, not to mention to maintain their health. That is the reason that gardeners and farmers use fertilizers for their lawn and plants. Nitrogen is one of the major minerals that is usually lacking from the soil because plants need large amounts for their growth and survival. Other minerals contained in the soil are phosphorus, potassium, calcium, magnesium, sulfur, boron, copper, iron, chloride, manganese, molybdenum and many more.
